Seriously, your tan depends on it.

Pre-tan prep

Follow these steps so your tan comes out flawless:

-Exfoliate: Scrub away dead skin 24 hours before. Don’t skip knees, elbows, or cuticles.

-Shave/Wax: Day before, not day of. Avoid fresh cuts.

-Skip lotions & oils: Clean, dry, product-free skin only.

-Hydrate: Drink water, your skin will love it.

-Clothes matter: Plan on wearing loose, dark clothes after your appointment

day of your tan

These small steps make a huge difference:

-Shower lightly: Clean skin, no heavy soap.

-No deodorant or perfume: These can block color.

-Hair prep: Tie up long hair to avoid stains.

-Loose clothes: Easy slip-on pants, comfy top.

-Mindset: Relaxed, hydrated, and ready to glow. Snap a before picture!

after care

-Rinse time matters: Follow the rinse time we discussed—every tan is different.

-First rinse: Quick and lukewarm only. No body washes, soaps, or scrubs. Let the tan fully develop.

-Hot showers/baths: Avoid taking long and hot showers or baths that can fade your tan

-No harsh soaps/body washes: Includes Dove, moisturizing washes, and exfoliating scrubs. Stick to gentle, sulfate-free options after your first rinse.

-Swimming & sweating: Chlorine and salt water can fade your tan fast.

-Pro tip: Moisturize daily with a lightweight lotion to extend your glow.

faq

  • Girl, don’t even think about it! Your tan needs its moment to develop. First rinse = quick & lukewarm only. No soaps, scrubs, or sabotaging your glow.

  • Not yet. Let your skin do its magic first. After rinse? Keep it gentle, no heavy fragrances.

  • Dark, loose clothes = your BFF. Pat dry, don’t rub, and grab a dark towel for bed. Glow comes first! But, if you do get some of the bronzers on your clothing or sheets, it will absolutely wash out.

  • Moisturize daily with something lightweight. Avoid friction (tight jeans, sleeves, etc.), stay hydrated. Try one of the tan extender products from the online store or ask at your appointment.

  • That’s up to you. I want you to feel comfortable and love your glow. You can be fully nude, wear a bathing suit, thong, or even shorts. I will offer disposables that you can wear!
